V čechách to opět vypadalo na víkend plný nízké oblačnosti a smogu kam jen oko dohlédne.
Nakopl jsem tedy vrtuli a za mlhou hustou tak, že by se dala krájet, ... nebydlel Rákosníček, ale ... známé to pohoří našich jižních sousedů.

Tuesday, March 22nd
Our ski took us to Belleville valley & Val Thorens again. We started our journey on "pointe de la Masse" using red marked trail "longet". Nice slope with frozen snow. Afterwards, we took several lifts to get into the highest ski resort of Belleville valley - Val Thorens and made a lunch break in a pub near Peclet glacier.

Cheeseburger and one bier made us full. We took our ski again and returned back to VT. Near Mont de la Chambre - major interconnect between VT, Les Menuires & Mottaret valley - we made decision to return back to Mottaret through 3 Marches summit.

Monday, March 21st
we used gondola from Meribel/Mottaret valley to Saulire summit. Some photos, we took there, are available bellow. On Saulire we started our round trip through courchevel valley (Roc. Merlet, Courchevel 1850, La Tania, Col de la Loze).

There was a thin snow cover on some lower parts of slopes (below 1500m), but higher parts were excellent. Round trip we finished in the Bar on top of Saulire. Afterwards, we several times used Saulire cable car and combe saulire, one of the best slopes in this area.

Cime de caron summit should be left by several slopes. I recommend "black" ones - combe de caron (VT area) or combe de rosael (Orelle). We used combe de rosael to access Orelle area.
